How this works.

What you get

A complete wedding photography website: home, wedding stories, about, prices, FAQ, an enquiry page with a date check, and a page for each town you shoot in. Built with your photographs, your words and your prices.

What it costs

R2,500 once off to build it. R750 a month after that for the care plan, which every site includes. R1,450 a month if you take Growth instead. Prices include everything listed here. There is nothing extra later.

The build fee is payable when the site goes live, not up front. You see the whole site on a real link before you pay anything.

What the monthly covers

• Hosting, SSL and daily backups
• Uptime and enquiry-form monitoring, so a broken form gets noticed by me and not by you
• Two small changes a month. Prices, packages, swapping photographs, new copy
• Anything broken fixed as a priority, at no extra cost
• On Growth: a published wedding story each month, a new location page each quarter, and a quarterly note on what is ranking

Changes are usually done the same day, and always within two working days. If you need more than two changes in a month, ask. I am not going to nickel and dime you over a third one.

Your domain

Your domain is registered in your name, with you as the owner. I manage the technical settings so you never have to think about it, but the registration is yours. If we stop working together it stays yours, and nothing I do or stop doing can take it away from you.

If I am paying the yearly registration on your behalf and you cancel, I will tell you when it is next due so it does not lapse by accident.

Your photographs

Yours, always. I use them to build and run your site and for nothing else. I will ask before showing your site as an example of my work.

What I own

The site is built on a system I maintain and reuse across every client, which is why a build costs R2,500 rather than R15,000. You own the finished website. I own the system that produces it.

If you want to stop

Thirty days notice, by email, no reason needed and no exit fee. At the end of the notice period:

• The site comes off my hosting
• I send you the finished site as files you can host anywhere
• I send back your photographs and any enquiries the form has collected
• Your domain is already yours, so you point it wherever you like

The files I send are the finished website, not the system that generates it. They will work as they are. They will not update themselves.

The build fee is not refundable, because the work is done. Monthly fees are not charged beyond the notice period.

If I want to stop

Same thirty days, and the same handover. If I ever cannot continue, you get everything above plus help moving to someone else. You will not be left with a site nobody can maintain.

If a payment fails

I will email you. If it is still unpaid after fourteen days I will email again before anything changes. Your site does not go offline without two warnings, and never during your season without talking to you first.

What I cannot promise

I cannot promise a specific position on Google or a specific number of enquiries. Nobody can, and anybody who does is guessing. What I can promise is that the pages exist, they are built properly, and they are aimed at the searches couples in your area actually make.

Anything else

Ask me. If something here is unclear it is my fault for writing it badly, and I would rather fix the wording than have you find out later. williamjonahmci@gmail.com
