Your photographs first, then how a day with you actually runs, then real prices. In that order, because that is the order couples decide in.
For wedding photographers
I build wedding photography websites with a page for every town and venue you shoot, so you turn up in the searches couples actually make. Live in under a week, and I look after it afterwards.
The problem
If you are listed on a directory, you are paying every month to appear on somebody else's website. When a couple searches for a photographer in your area, the directory ranks and you do not, so you are renting an audience instead of owning one.
Instagram has the same problem in a different shape. It is where couples check you out once they have heard of you, and it is nowhere at all when they are still looking.
Meanwhile the couples worth having are typing very specific things: the name of a venue, or the name of a town, followed by the words wedding photographer. Those searches have almost no competition and they are the closest thing to a couple raising their hand.
How it works
Every successful photographer site in this market has them, and most of them were written by hand, one at a time. Yours are generated from a list, so having eight of them costs no more effort than having one.
Each page talks about shooting in that specific place: the venues, the light, the drive, the weather you plan around. That is what makes it rank, and it is also what makes a couple feel like you have been there before, because you have.
What you get
Your photographs first, then how a day with you actually runs, then real prices. In that order, because that is the order couples decide in.
Full weddings told against the running order of the day rather than a grid of favourites. It is the thing couples read all the way through.
The highest-converting page on any photographer's site, and usually the most neglected. Written properly, with you in it.
Your actual prices. Hiding them loses the couple who is comparing three photographers on a Sunday night, which is most of them.
The questions you answer in every enquiry email, answered once. Also generates the expandable results Google shows under a listing.
A date check so couples know straight away whether you are free, and a form that asks the things you need instead of just "message".
Getting it built
Around thirty photographs, two or three full weddings if you have them, your prices, and the towns you shoot in. That is genuinely all I need.
You see the whole thing on a real link before anything is public, and we change whatever you want changed.
Hosting, backups, the security side, and the small changes you will want every few weeks. You never touch a dashboard unless you want to.
What it costs
R2,500 once off
Everything above, built with your photographs, your words and your prices. Live in under a week.
Included with every build
R750/month
Optional
R1,450/month
Care is part of every build rather than an upsell, because a photography site that nobody maintains stops earning within a year. One extra wedding covers your first year of both. Thirty days notice to stop, and you keep your domain and your site either way: how this works, in plain English.
